Michael Walker
Last year, someone at the trial was sporting a t-shirt from the US National Finals in Sturgis South Dakota. The background featured the presidential faces, etched in stone of, Mount Rushmore, a well known landmark in the neighbourhood of that National Finals. Michael Walker took inspiration. Kingston has its own icons. Why not include them in the trial art?
One of the paintings has a Murney Tower in the background. the other shows our fabulous City Hall. Michael has both Kingston and the trials looking very good. One painting is awarded to the winner of the trial. The other goes to the Double Lift Champion.
Since the trials began in 1988, Michael has given them a unique brand with his work, making it easy to greet the world in style. We are proud to assume his look.
