Chef's Trials

It’s culinary tourism at it’s best! In addition to the Sheep Dog Trials, visitors to Grass Creek will be sure to enjoy a different type of trials on this event weekend - it's The Chef Trials and it’s been made possible by a Celebrate Ontario Grant and David Craig of Mobile Kitchens Canada Inc. You’ll be treated to cooking demos by some of Kingston’s most celebrated Chefs. Twice a day at 11:30am and 2:30pm, a local Kingston Chef will show you how to prepare a special meal, highlighting some of our local foods and then you get to try it out! You’ll sample a variety of main dishes (yes, there will be lamb!) and side dishes. Not only will it be fun to watch, but it will be fun to eat too!
